Former Miss World Priyanka Chopra turns 36 today, and she’s moving forward in leaps and bounds! From being crowned Miss World in 2000 to taking Hollywood by storm – there’s no stopping her. Priyanka Chopra, aka Piggy Chops, earned the name because of her love for food. During one of her movie shootings, her co-star Abhishek Bachchan gave her that name. She can eat just about anyone under the table. Blessed with a metabolic rate most would give an arm and leg for, Priyanka loves Indian and Italian food. Her weakness, however, is desserts – from cheesecakes to jalebis, she loves them all!

While she loves everything connected with food, Priyanka steers clear of unhealthy and greasy food. A well-balanced diet of vegetables, fruits, and lean protein is what she has every day. In order for her metabolism to stay the way it is, she eats every 2-3 hours, and coconut water is her go-to drink to stay hydrated and energised. It also does wonders for her already glowing skin.
In the exercise arena, she’s fierce, and we’ve seen that when she trained and muscled up to play Mary Kom, the boxer. Her acting was flawless, as was her physique. Given that she’s an actress, she needs to change her appearance as per her role in every movie. So from being a muscled, bulked-up boxer, she dropped those extra kilos for her next role in a matter of 20 days only. How did she undergo this transformation so fast? A protein-rich diet, coupled with loads of determination and dedication, and some heavy duty exercising. Something she’s never been shy of engaging in.
