5 Simple Skincare Tips For Working Women

She uses her head, she uses her hands. She does it all- every day! We’re talking about the working woman.

If you’re a working woman, you’re probably always on the go. Which means your skin gets exposed to dust, grime, pollution, harsh rays of the Sun, dry air of the air conditioner, on a daily basis. That’s why having a skincare routine is more important for you than anything else.

If you’re someone who has no time left for herself after juggling between work and home, you need to try these skincare tips:

1. Deep cleanse at night

You can’t get the perfect skin if you go to bed without cleaning your face. Choose a good quality cleanser according to your skin type and use it religiously before going to bed. This will help you get rid of all the impurities and allow your skin to breathe. Moreover, once you’ve deep cleansed at night, you don’t need to invest a lot of time cleaning your face in the morning. You can just splash some water and get going.

2. Moisturise religiously

After you are done cleaning your face, it’s very important to restore the skin’s essential oils using a moisturiser. At night, massage your face with a nourishing cream for at least 2-3 minutes. This will retain elasticity in your skin and prevent it from sagging. For daytime, pick a lightweight moisturiser which is preferably tinted. A tinted moisturiser will save you the time you spend on applying a foundation and also make sure your face doesn’t look too made up or cakey.

3. Stay hydrated

Moisturiser hydrates your skin only on the outside, if you want to glow from the inside out, you must nourish your body. Not drinking enough water leads to accumulation of toxins in the body, which is the primary reason for most skin problems like dullness, dryness, acne, breakouts, pigmentation et cetera. Fine lines and wrinkles are more visible on a skin that isn’t hydrated enough. Keep sipping on fluids throughout the day. Drink at least 3-4 litres of water daily, to keep your body and skin healthy and happy.

4. Never step out without sunscreen

If you’re stepping out of the house, you need to have sunscreen on. Since sunscreen takes about 20 minutes to get absorbed, we recommend you apply it before you sit down to have breakfast. Try and reapply sunscreen every 2-3 hours to make sure your skin is always shielded from the harmful UV rays around. If you’re worried about the chemicals in regular sunscreens or on a tight budget, this DIY Natural Chemical-free sunscreen will be your best friend.

5. Go organic

Avoid using chemical-laden cosmetics. They might give you ‘instant’ results but can harm your skin in the long run. Always choose organic, and natural products that don’t have parabens and sulphates in them.

Thumb rule: Don’t put anything on your skin, you won’t put in your mouth. At the healthhunt shop, we have got a wide range of natural, organic, and chemical-free skincare and cosmetics available. Go check it out now!

We hope that with these tips, the idea of having a skincare regime no longer seems like a luxury to you. Sneak a little bit of time for yourself and incorporate these tips into your daily routine. We’re sure you’ll see a difference within a week.
